EARTHQUAKES AROUND THE WORLD

A little exercise I suggest to get familiar with ArcGIS Explorer Online, where you can add different files (.csv, .shp, .gpx). In this case, I used a csv file from GeoCommunity at: http://spatialnews.geocomm.com/features/quakes2000/, and filtered information of earthquakes around the world registered in January 2000, but selected only the events with a magnitude higher than 4.00. Here's the result.

SOIL CONSERVATION PROJECT

When you have a little time, check out my post about SOIL CONSERVATION PROJECT in the page "PROJECTS" of this blog. It's about a new project I'm working on in the basin of Mira River. We plan to apply GIS for the analysis of soil and water parameters. I'll be more than satisfied if you give us suggestions of how to improve it!
